| After
taking part in my first canine show, I felt the encouragement and
firmness that there was my vocation, longing to obtain worth mentioning
models heading for competition.
I went
to Genealogy and Genetic Intensive Courses in order to keep informed
about the pedigree characteristics in the procreation, topics that
I naturally figured out as I'm an Approved Technical from the Medicine
Faculty, of our Republic University.
Experiences
went on naturally, without respite, as time was passing by. Other
excellent animals were bought with lines of European and North American
blood. The purpose was to establish my affix with their reproduction.
In
these brief comments I feel the predictable affective, moral and
ethical need of mentioning my thankfulness to Don Jesús Montero,
who lives in Madrid (Spain); a worldwide known breeder, whose affix
is Coramonte. His affection to Yorkshires guided him to transmit
me the essence of his own knowledge and experience of years. I also
received in heritage meaningful know-how from his performances,
given with the honesty and humbleness of those few, but genuine
Masters.
Many
years of doing my best as breeder and exhibitor, taking several
Courses as the Cinophilia course associated to my theoretical studies
and daily praxis, allowed me to go forward in the exam demanded
by the Council of Judges and the Uruguayan Kennel Club, official
organism affiliated to the Cinologic International Federation (FCI).
Since
August, 2004, I am a proud Specialized Judge of this breed.
I have
had so many surprises in these years, that I am sure that the best
things are still to come.
The continuous apprenticeship is the way. The goal is the EXCELLENCE.
